First ever photoshop attempt..be kind

Hey what do you guys think for my first ever attempting using photoshop?

not bad first attempt could do better with the font.

i like the background a lot, but the font definitely needs work

Did alil tweaking to the font...might have to download a font package to get a real good one

the general idea is ok but there are some technical issues here.

1. his hand is cut off
2. the "dallas stars" text is in a very random/awkward spot
3. mess around with some glow effects and blending options on the pic to get rid of that pasted on sort of look
4. yea, the font sucks.
