Uh...it's only March and I think we've seen plenty of deals made. From experiencing last year, the offseason is a practically a season in itself. It's hard to make moves for next year before you know where some guys are playing and for how much and who their teammates will be. I want no part of the trade market until our draft order is finalized and I know when our waiver draft will take place. Considering I have the 2nd pick, I'm anxious to find out which college players sign after the season because I hope I can find a guy that can help my team next year. I want to evaluate my entire team once all the hockey seasons are actually over and I look over the numbers and make some decisions going forward based on trends and contract situations. I won't do anything for a few weeks until I have a plan in mind so I'd prefer that no one approach me for anything until then. I'm thinking late April at the earliest before I dip my toe in the water.
