Really like this deal for Topher, Ov is a superstar, and IMO the best player in hockey, but you don't win with one player. The deal makes sense for Nick because he has the depth to support OV, but now Toph has a very formidable core to build around.

I'm not gonna lie, with the recent emergence of: Edmonton, Buffalo and Chicago I am more excited about the future of this league. Hopefully more teams follow suit and abandon the rebuild approach.

It's improving, but the powerhouses are still all in one conference, and the same thing happened last year if you recall, but as time wore on each good (not great team) sold off to the highest bidder.
