The solution is simple, you're a fucking baby and if you don't get your way you cry until somebody listens.
Of course switching a great team from the East for a weak team in the West will help even out conferences. And don't you think if somebody like Kyle made the request for this and it's parity it would be granted? Your reputation for being a baby with these outbursts is the reason nobody cares or feels bad for you because oh my god, your team is so good but you'll never win because of Scott in the East.
You're only buddies with somebody when you want them on your side with something.
I'm done with you. Get somebody else to make your banners and keep your lame pick.

Back onto the real topic of conversation, If Kyle wants to move to the West, not only do I support it, I recommend it. This has nothing to do with the events of last week, though let the record show that I beat Scott the week before, last week was as lopsided as it was because Scott had a great week, and I had a sub-par one.Shoalzie wroteCOLONWith all due respect to Kareem...whether you played Scott in Eastern semis or the league finals, you lost and lost bad. It's not a product of your conference. The league title goes through Scott whether you're in his conference or not.
That being said...I think we've got a fairly balanced league that doesn't need any massive tweeks. Yes, the Rangers who finished 9th in the East would've been 6th in the West but there's always a year where some team could say, "if I was only in the other conference, I'd be in the playoffs". Bill would've been 10th in the West if was still St. Louis with how many points he had...finished 10th in the East with Ottawa.
I can understand Kareem's beef but why should he move? Who really should have the authority to say their team should move to another division or conference? Good teams will succeed in either conference and bad teams will be bad in either conference. Play with hand you're dealt and be as competitive as you can and do what you feel is best for your team. As far as teams getting into the playoffs this year...only one team missed because of conference strength or imbalance. If you ranked the top 18 teams in our league, each conference would have 9 teams each.
The issue here is the imbalance of conferences, nothing more, and nothing less. The reason I want to move is because I don't see another powerhouse volunteering to, and it requires that type of powerful team to make a difference, IMO.

No, Shep, it was rather straightforward. Your point was that I treat people differently to get what I want, when in fact I treat everyone the exact same. So the only way anyone could think I was "buddying up" with them, is if in fact they thought I was their buddy.Snipeshow wroteCOLONApparently that went way over your head if you took it the way you did. Except that it doesn't work like that. The strength of conference and divisions not only dictates your place in the standings, but who you face, and thus how high in the standings you fair. If I were in the West this season for instance, the numbers suggest that I would be in first place, certainly top 3. As opposed to 6th overall, and having to face a top seeded team in each of the first three rounds (barring upset).Shoalzie wroteCOLONAs far as teams getting into the playoffs this year...only one team missed because of conference strength or imbalance. You can't just look at final points, and say X would finish here, and Y there. To use the Ottawa example, he was a powerhouse in the West last season, with very similar talent, and a goat in the East this season. Vancouver (formerly Buffalo) was a mediocre team in the East last season, and a powerhouse in the West this season.

lol ffs we've chatted online 200+ times, had more in depth conversation then 20+ girls i've slept with, endured highs and lows of being a leaf fan...I am not anything more than an online acquaintance to anyone here, and if you think I am "buddies" with you, stop.
I know your just trying to instigate because your bored... but at some point some maturity is needed, or perhaps you really should just leave if that's the only way the league keeps your interest.
Regarding the shuffle... As i've said in the CC, and last year, this is a stupid thing to get into every single year. But in terms of the ideal movement, it's gotta be from the northeast into the central... if that's the case...volunteer basis... and once we've determined it's best for the league...

Oh Kareem, don't be so foolish. What about our scheduled vacation together this upcoming summer? We are the bestest buddies that could ever be from an online forum. Kind of insulting you saying otherwise. Next your going to tell me your not a Bruins fan and you are quitting your attempt to infiltrate Leaf Nation.

I don't know how you can say you would have finished 1st in the west when you failed to beat the team that actually did finish 1st in the west.MSP4LYFE wroteCOLONExcept that it doesn't work like that. Kareem is right though you cant look at points and say it was even as the west played the west and east played east. There is very clearly a difference in power levels and for anyone to deny that is completely retarded. I would like to believe that it will eventually work itself out but it may not. We should at least consider some action at some point. I think we should wait until the playoffs are over over so this can get full attention though.
btw mik you serious about VAN-COL-MIN being equal or comparable to STL-NSH-CHI?
VS whole league records
Total Points
COL: 6666-3038-968 = 14300
VAN: 5520-4041-1111 = 12151
MIN: 4104-5452-1116 = 9324 (I also said soon with him because I feel his team is close to becoming a contender but isnt yet)
STL: 5648-3938-1086 = 12382
NSH: 4392-5182-1098 = 9882
CHI: 3468-6112-1092 = 8028
on what earth are those comparable? IF you want to compare VAN-STL and NSH-MIN then yes it works but you are left with COL-CHI and im sorry that does not translate to even out the divisions. Your division is by far the weakest in BBKL and should be the first altered in the west if some moves were made and I dont think anyone can give an educated argument otherwise.

not sure how what you wrote here is supposed to prove anything in reference to my previous posts:

thats better and I'd welcome the competition. My two funnest weeks were when I played you and facey. I also had to play mike which was a baddd week for me so he beat me handedly.MSP4LYFE wroteCOLONLOL, valid point. 2nd in the West then

Yeah, that is why Facey moved to the SE, I even spearheaded the movement, but I don't see Mike or Kyle volunteering to move out of the NE, and that is the type of team it would require to balance divisions (or at least a start). Ergo, why I am volunteering.shooker wroteCOLONthats better and I'd welcome the competition. My two funnest weeks were when I played you and facey. I'd contemplate a switch with Nick, though I wouldn't make any promises.
It'll significantly strengthen the West while significantly weaken the East.
