Awards Committee Wants You!

Hey guys, it's that time of the year again! That's right with the playoffs only one week away we have to start getting together to discuss the annual BBKL awards! We are looking for some of the GM's around the league to show interest in this committee and sign up!

Billy and myself will be co-chairs of this committee and will be looking to add 5 members to have a total of 7 votes!

Responsibilites will include:

selection of nominees - this means actually giving some time and effort into your nominees we would love short little write ups on why you personally feel the person(s) you are nominating deserve the award.

voting process - it will be up to the 7 of us to vote for the awards after we present the nominees so it will be very important to vote with no bias and vote for who you truly believe is worthy of the award.

I will be making a seperate sub-fourm that will only be accessible to the Awards Committee so we can disucss nominees of all of the awards, this sub-fourm is also where the voting will be taking place.

If you are interested PLEASE post in here and let myself and Billy know so we can select the comittee! Thanks guys and I look forward to working with this comittee!

I have to admit that I liked it when the whole league voted. I realize it took forever to get the votes in but I felt that there was a few groups with completely different views on who should win what award. With the whole league able to vote that balanced out but with only 7, maybe not. We need a committee to put up nominee's or that argument would go on for days but I feel the whole league should get a vote. If I am alone on this thought I am totally ok with the committee doing everything just seems like it should be a league vote to me.

Yup bry I agree with you for sure its better when the whole league votes the committee is just naming three nominees for each award and then the league will vote
