Re: No deals?
too many sellers..
less buyers = less interest and more sellers = lower offers/returns

Re: No deals?
Well.. it really doesn't work the same was as NHL TDD as we don't accumulate cap room as year goes on, and because of this the playoff push is made by founding more good young players with soft cap hits, the same thing that the rebuilders seem to focus on, as if being young is part of rebuilding in fantasy hockey.
Re: No deals?
Not making the playoffs anyhow so who cares? I can still trade after this week.

this is a good part of it.facey wroteCOLONWell.. it really doesn't work the same was as NHL TDD as we don't accumulate cap room as year goes on, and because of this the playoff push is made by founding more good young players with soft cap hits, the same thing that the rebuilders seem to focus on, as if being young is part of rebuilding in fantasy hockey.
One more reason: one of the few buyers with cap space was me,(perceived as :p)a notorious lowballer! ... who:
- was not in a position to sacrifice the future (no way i could trade Orlov to get a 38yrs old Knuble, that's what it took) to make a serious run, when a serious run would have been highly unlikely anyway
- i had to go to sleep like 4hrs before the deadline expired... i probably would have been able to add another piece otherwise.
