San Jose is expected to send defenseman Jay Leach and center Steve Zalewski to the New Jersey Devils for center Michael Swift and left wing Patrick Davis

and i hate the sens hahaha

I can see Lupul and Frolik doing well on their team. And Pacan will have a better chance making the team in coming years.

I don't think they are quite that bad, they cap space to work with in the offseason, and a very strong stable of youth: Erik Karlsson, Jared Cowen, Robin Lehner, David Rundblad, Patrick Wiercoch, Jakob Silfverberg, and now two first rounders. Not to mention a pre-existing core of: Daniel Alfredsson, Jason Spezza, Milan Michalek, and Sergei Gonchar. They aren't far removed from being a strong team, certainly not as bad off as we were a couple of seasons ago (with no top end NHL talent [save for Kaberle] or top prospects).
