EMERY IS BACKKKKK
Re: EMERY IS BACKKKKK
He's in discussions about the possibility of, likely, a two-way contract.
That's considered "back" now?

Gotta remember that Savard is back too
Re: EMERY IS BACKKKKK
Emery is back in the sense that Chris Terreri is back.

Re: EMERY IS BACKKKKK
this is just a prelude. you haters can hate. but im about to get a starting goaltender back very soon. even if hes a back up this year, he'll have a starting job next year. goalies that lead their team to stanley cup finals always get a chance.
Re: EMERY IS BACKKKKK
He's been given a chance before. I'll definitely bet he won't start the majority of games on a team next season.SuperMario wroteCOLONthis is just a prelude. you haters can hate. but im about to get a starting goaltender back very soon. even if hes a back up this year, he'll have a starting job next year. goalies that lead their team to stanley cup finals always get a chance.

Re: EMERY IS BACKKKKK
he was given a chance as a starting goalie and till he got injured he was playing terrific. he will again. the minute a team signs him in the off season i'll gladly bet a 2nd rounder that he will play the majority of games. we can post it in the otb lounge when it happens.Snipeshow wroteCOLONHe's been given a chance before. I'm not saying it won't happen. But you're making it see like it's a foregone conclusion.SuperMario wroteCOLONhe was given a chance as a starting goalie and till he got injured he was playing terrific. he will again. the minute a team signs him in the off season i'll gladly bet a 2nd rounder that he will play the majority of games. we can post it in the otb lounge when it happens.Snipeshow wroteCOLONHe's been given a chance before. When he signs, we'll make a bet.

Re: EMERY IS BACKKKKK
Feel free to ask me how I know, but despite your belief that " he was playing terrific" , he was only good (last year) in one category, wins...amazing what being the goalie for the Flyers does ( Elite 2-way forwards, deepest forwards in the NHL, and amazing top 4 d-men on top of a quality bottom pairing)! Ray's rather far removed from the run with the Senators -> That's 2006, when they were by far the most dynamic offensive team in the league... the guy averages a GAA close to 3 and isn't a .910 sv% goalie, in his prime. Betting a 2nd rounder for a guy who's not even worth one seems like so over-compensating, fake, confidence. (Could be small penis syndrome, would have to ask Kareem about that though ).
With all that said (too much I'm sure), if the guy signs in Anaheim I would try and acquire him... but for the same reason I've gotten their other AHL goalies (not to be confused with Bobkov); Interested not because he has a slight hope in hell of stealing a starter job (especially not from Hiller or another proven net-minder), but because he could become the backup or get games in for the backup if one of the goalies gets injured.

lol im not trading emery unless i get a big upgrade somewhere. at this moment im holding a stock that can rise as high as the value of a starting goaltender. this post was made in the general discussion board and not the trading block for a reason .mr. bruin wroteCOLONI'd like to be a fly on the wall while you two are in trade talks...

Just remember, regarding Savard:
Though I am ready to shuffle up the BBKL page agian... use your logo which is awesome:
and move the chat box to the top. LOL
And once the fucker Emery signs in ANA I'll either have to wait out his short return attempt or play you more then he's worth, insurance policy stuff.

Mixing metaphor is hard to counter... but safe return and value gained vs potentially maximizing profit but at an increasing risk -> some people have long trading careers, others are flashes in the pan. Free asset gains value when news is fresh and expectations not yet tempered, waiting for unrealistic gains will, more-often then not, result in a loss of net profit. It's where homework & experience comes into play.
Quick semi-related question: will Ray be waiver exempt when he returns?

Re: EMERY IS BACKKKKK
Ray will be waiver exempt on his return. He has not played in europe or abroad this year and will not have to pass through waivers to be assigned to a team. If emery does sign anywhere he'll be in the AHL to start for conditioning at the very least, he hasn't played games in ages.facey wroteCOLONSuperMario wroteCOLONlol im not trading emery unless i get a big upgrade somewhere. at this moment im holding a stock that can rise as high as the value of a starting goaltender. this post was made in the general discussion board and not the trading block for a reason .mr. bruin wroteCOLONI'd like to be a fly on the wall while you two are in trade talks...

Nick, I want to commend you for putting so much effort into your post. The time it must have taken you alone deserves recognition.
I'm going to ignore the fact that you reacted like a woman at my harmless joke at you. Try not to be so emo though. It really isn't masculine .

Don't worry about the effort I put in, thankfully it was not very much work... amazing how easy it is to find questionable quotes from you! I don't know how you find my post 'emo' though... bunch of quotes of yourself evokes emotions outta you?
I have one emotion, and it's hungry.
However in this hockey forum I'm talking hockey... try and stay on topic
