What's with all the 'butt hurting' remarks? Have I missed this euphemism?

I'm assuming it means he thinks he was raped ... seems to be a common thing 'round here.

I think it's said in jest a lot of the time but I also think it's a defense mechanism to keep anyone from saying they overpaid or they were ripped off in deal. Instead, they just come out and say right after a deal is posted that you got bent over. It then prompts the sympathy remarks of "no, that wasn't so bad" or "I really think you made out okay".

You can always find someone in this league that will tell you that you made a good deal as well as you can find someone who'll tell you that lost big time. We all have our reasons for making a trade...whether it be to get one guy that you really want or shed salary or trade a star for multiple pieces. There's a method to everyone's madness here...
