This would piss me off if true. Unless we are getting Neal or Eriksson back...Assuming Richards hits UFA, there is a very real chance he signs here, and I can't think of many who would be a better fit for our current team. So unless there are substantial pieces coming back, why the fuck would we help them resign Richards?

Brenden Morrow is another guy I would love, not more than Richards, but he is a heart and soul player, who is a great fit for Kessel (on paper).
