Ryan wroteCOLONI just think Schenn is a far superior player. Maybe with less flash, but has better tools to be an every day NHL forward. To suggest Kadri is better simply because he spent more time in the NHL this year is overlooking the fact that the Kings have a deep NHL roster while the Leafs are icing a team of AHL'ers on most nights.
With that said I'm only projecting a 2nd line center gig for Schenn. If he surprises maybe a Mike Richards like career. I don't see him being a world beating superstar. I just have a very poor opinion of Kadri.
Same draft year, very comparable across the board... but when BOTH played WJC Kadri was a go to offensive player whereas Schenn was basically a no show, now he made up for that this year, but on the 2011 team, Kadri would have the THE go too offensive force.
Schenn is full of awesome hockey plays, he's tough to face and very tough to beat. Kadri will be a love hate relationship, he'll win and lose ya games, but when hot he'll be able to win lots, and in a way that's rather awesome. Both are pretty tough kids, Brayden pays the price, and Kadri goes kamikaze, both lack true centre-man size, not that it'll stop either from playing that role should their teams develop them in that role.
