Re: HAARP
Yeah dude, I'm the same...Especially with Tesla, I'm a fan of his work, or rather what many people believe is his work. Chief among them: weather modification, brain control (exercised by the Soviets during the Cold War), and free electricity.mr. bruin wroteCOLONThank you, this shit is right up my alley! Probably watch all of these today. Not just HAARP...
Re: HAARP
I love Tesla as much as the next guy but some serious citations be needed before I buy into any of those things.MSP4LYFE wroteCOLONYeah dude, I'm the same...Especially with Tesla, I'm a fan of his work, or rather what many people believe is his work. Re: HAARP
Well it's called conspiracy theory for a reason, but as I'm sure you know, there are some very strong evidences that suggest there is something to these theories.Starpainter wroteCOLONI love Tesla as much as the next guy but some serious citations be needed before I buy into any of those things.MSP4LYFE wroteCOLONYeah dude, I'm the same...Especially with Tesla, I'm a fan of his work, or rather what many people believe is his work. Ah, thought you believed it as fact. Let me know when it's time to toss out my physics textbooks.MSP4LYFE wroteCOLONWell it's called conspiracy theory for a reason, but as I'm sure you know, there are some very strong evidences that suggest there is something to these theories.Starpainter wroteCOLONI love Tesla as much as the next guy but some serious citations be needed before I buy into any of those things.MSP4LYFE wroteCOLONYeah dude, I'm the same...Especially with Tesla, I'm a fan of his work, or rather what many people believe is his work. Nah, that's why I made sure to say "what many people believe to be his work", it's very compelling stuff nonetheless.Starpainter wroteCOLONAh, thought you believed it as fact. Let me know when it's time to toss out my physics textbooks.
Re: HAARP
The history behind Telsa is pretty awesome in itself.
I'd love to know what the people at DARPA are up to, can't imagine crazy things going on. Knowing whats on the cutting edge of science is always pretty awesome.

Lake Vostok is pretty interesting stuff, there is also the stuff going on at the LHC. Lots of interesting stuff in the world of Science.

Re: HAARP
This quote in particular caught me eye, wow...Finally, anything living in the lake will have evolved in relative isolation for about 14 million years, so it could offer a snapshot of conditions on Earth long before humans evolved.
Re: HAARP
I have a natural dislike for scientist that make bold claims, and statements which can be (or potentially meant to be) interpreted incorrectly.
Was going to explain what I don't like about the article, conspiracy theories and why, but I have to go. My friend and colleague Colin Campbell (weird eh?) is defending his dissertation in an hour. If successful he'll be a Prof @ Monash University (http://www.buseco.monash.edu.au/) and we'll be super duper drunk roaming downtown Vancouver. 4 years undergrad, 2 years MBA, 6 years PhD is so close to ending for him; He is currently researching a variety of areas including networks, consumer generated advertising, relationship marketing, and electronic commerce. I've got a soft-ball question for him if things start to get sticky
