A fellow playoff team can claim him but he can't be used until next week...but since Chris has higher priority, that can't happen.

Brian has 41 active contracts and 9 slides. He could've claimed him. Yes, 50 signed players but you can add contracts as long as you don't "activate" all of your other sliding contracts.

What I'll try to do with the sheets next season is remove the sliding contracts from the "Minors" section to avoid any confusion. I have that area on the bottom left where the Sliding Contracts are listed so they appear in two locations but that's why I have the blue "S" icon next to the player.

My formula on the sheet takes the number of "Signed" players and subtracts the number of sliding contracts. Why it matters if you use a player on a sliding contract, I change their status to a waiver-exempt player and they'll count towards your 50.
