Have had amazing injury luck for years, but this will be tough to overcome.

I see that they've officially announced he's having surgery. That's notable for you and obviously notable for Carolina. The Devils are right there to take the division away from them.

You don't want to take zeros for Svech this week but obviously there's no one in the reserves or minors that can replace his production. There's no replacement level player when you lose a star. You just hope your other stars chip in. The luxury of having depth is you don't depend on just one guy.
