Re: Trade: DET-NSH
Confirmed.
On a side note, while I was looking for this thread to confirm the deal, I was not able to find it using the "view unread posts" tool, it only showed up with "view new posts". So, basically, using either of those tools you're still at risk of missing some posts/threads

Nice deal fellas - mik gets a bit more current output. Still think mittlestadt is the best piece in the deal. Prefer Scott’s end long term.

Exactly my rationale. I lose in the short-term with this deal and the Dunn deal but I'm not in a position to win.
I'm willing to deal with any growing pains of Mittelstadt and I'm happy to move out two periph pieces like Colton and Dickinson. Colton has solid offensive upside but I would hope Mittelstadt easily surpasses his 30-35 points a year. Mittelstadt is having a nice year on Buffalo's power play. Jonsson-Fjallby...not sure what he is yet but as long as Mittelstadt progresses offensively, I can be patient with him as well.

Good on Scott to get an earlier 3rd rounder than the one he gave up to Mik
