Obviously Matthew, I can't recoup the value loss in the deal you and I made involving Wennberg and Boone Jenner. Josh has had interest in the past for him and since I'm trying to add multiple players where I can...now was the time to make a move.

Wennberg just didn't seem to pop the way I would've hoped he would but he fits a role on whatever team he's on. I'm curious to see how he slots in Seattle going forward with ever-growing center depth. He took a lot of faceoffs last year but that was before Beniers turned pro.

You've started rebuilding now. Make your moves that are best for your team now and don't concern yourself with past deals. once you begin rebuilding asset expansion should be a main goal so this is a solid deal. All the pieces you received have room to grow in value.

Cool, the Capitals just signed Carlsson. As I told Josh...if he signed somewhere...that's a bonus.
