Was torn between Dumais and Nelson myself, good pick Frank. Only other thing than the obvious size deficiency is he has some skating mechanics to work, kid is dynamite though really hope he works out.

Vegas will be a fan of that Dumais pick. Lots of scouts seem to be not sure why he isn't being rated higher when he put up points at a pace few have in the Q. I get that he isn't the type of skater you want for that size, it will be interesting to see where he ends up being drafted.

I know he was rank anywhere in the 3rd round but I felt he offered enough to warrant a reach.

Just happy you end up trading your pick. I did read a few scouting report on him. Zachary L’Heureux even tweeted the following message;

Jordan Dumais has 52 points in 33 games and 6th in the Q in scoring. How do you not invite this kid to the top prospect game….@CHLHockey @HFXMooseheads

It’s just crazy how underrated this kis is. Will he be the next Johnny Gaudreau and become a top nhler?
