Hi GMs, new Hawks GM here this may take me a bit to get use too so be patient or not I don't really care. Didn't notice an intro thread so I'll just post that I've been in 3 of these type leagues (2 folded) and I've never quit any so I'll be here until the leagues goes or you kick me out. Not sure why the old Hawks GM left or was booted, as he seemed to be active but I'll try to keep improving the team. I've never had to build a team from ground up before so this will be new. I'll go make the 1OA pick and get the draft going i guess

If I picked a player that didn't exist then I would still be on the clock. This is a foolish argument, we all know who it is, we have never and would never decide a pick is ineligible over a typo when it's obvious.

I would always prefer you guys to spell the names correctly and maybe even reference who they play for but how many hockey players are named "Maveric Lamoureux"? This is a silly debate.

I have to deal with Russian players with multiple spellings of their name...I don't think we've disallow a pick based on a spelling error.

I still think GMs should bother spelling their draftee's name correctly, especially if they are not taking the time to mention from what team they are drafting the player
