I'd probably move Hronek to save cap. Prefer seeing who is available when the pick is OTC, but check in with me before moving it if he interests you.

As one of, if not the only top team, that isn't gonna have a fairly tough time with cap this off season, I plead with rebuilders don't let buffalo/nashville/philli/dal/col etc etc off easy on trimming cap. If they need to cut 10m or 15m in cap they shouldn't be able to get a top pick while trimming. Make them wait and then make them eat it by dropping decent players. Enough top teams need to trim that all of you should be able to get a good deal or so.

With the way the cap has been for several years...we missed a great opportunity to introduce cap retention.

Collusion doesn't work, someone will get a player at a discount and other teams that were "not letting GM off easy" miss out and don't get a good player for a good price.

I do agree that GMs need to be tougher on teams that obviously are desperate to cut cap. We have seen GMs make deals where it looks like they are only negotiating against themselves.

Collusion does work especially if there are lots of teams trying to cut cap
No teams won't get a superstar for a 2nd but the avg price will drop overall

Complete collusion won't be done but partial collusion still works

We have partial collusion, but all it takes is one GM and then we see the trade posted and all groan and wonder why they did it.

negatively affecting those who perpetrate it

The market is what the market is. People will pay what they feel is good for their team. If Mik has too many 1sts, then pray they bust.

Much better BBKL producer than Seth Jones, and for 1/3 of the salary....

Ouch my feelings

I wonder what kinda crazy contract he will get when his current one is up at the end of next season.

He has more hits and a bit more shtoi than Seth jones that’s about all he has him best on. Jones has him in nearly every other category.

Love how you just casually add in lundkvist too to go with Dave’s 10th overall lol

I am not sure what you are missing here. An overpaid D is worth #5, I am asking for #10 + a prospect that struggled this season for a D that is better in BBKL and makes 6+ milions less than Jones lol

He’s not even thst much better in BBKL and after next season their contracts will be pretty close when weegar gets paid.

Once again find it hilarious how you just casually toss lunkvist into the deal.
