the age thing doens't matter cause you're getting a nice young prospect in return...who by-the-way tore up for Nashville at their development camp this summer. Therefore, the 9 years difference is cancelled out by Budish....because he's the youngest player in the deal.

i said whitney for gonchar + budish isnt an offer worth even considering and i stand by that. for two competing teams how can cap not be a decisive factor in deciding value when all else is equal (here age is not but whatever)? i think people are separating value from cap but for me the two are interrelated.
