Byram situation sucks. I’m sure he will be back. Wrt Timmy I don’t think his season so far this year is really cause for concern. Sophomore seasons see youngsters “regress” quite often. Ottawa is also a tire fire

Jeff Carter signed a 2 year extension with the Pens.

That's a trade that worked out well for the player and the team...he seems like a solid fit for that group. Considering how improved the Kings are right now, he probably wouldn't have been in bad shape if he stayed there but you get why the Kings moved him last year. Quite the bargain for the Pens in terms of a deadline rental...a conditional 3rd and 4th rounder.
