Any teams with outstanding picks will have until the close of the draft to make their selection or trade their pick.

Free agent claims will open at noon tomorrow. I'll get that thread up tonight.

So can we claim Thursday October 7th at noon? Just confirming... Also, is this now open to everyone that has not been claimed, or do we need to validate if they have been drafted by the league or not?

The waiver draft is officially closed. Arizona's time expired last night and no others outstanding picks have been made this morning.

All other players not selected in the waiver draft with a current NHL contract can be claimed started at noon today.

If they were drafted in the waiver draft, consider them owned even if they're available on Fantrax. Teams have until this weekend to claim their draft picks when we do roster submssion.

If the player is still 2022 draft eligible (based on age), they can't be claimed as a free agent.

Also, can you update the date so we know it's actually today and not next Monday? We worry about time zones, so I imagine this is important haha.

Also hard to sift through the list when there are tons of unclaimed players. You have to check each and every person instead of just being able to log on and check. Yes, it does not take much time, but I feel like there is a cleaner way to approach this period of the off-season.

There's quite a few contracted players that went undrafted in the waiver draft. Doesn't mean they need to be on anyone's roster but there's guys to be had if you have the space. I might claim someone later...trying to decide on my final 90 players.
