I can tell he's not in their long term plans with him being in and out of the lineup. I just hope he doesn't head back to Russia this summer.

I figure they'd like to trade him but his lack of production this year and he's got a healthy cap hit...he's not very moveable.

Interesting the two recent deals leading into Monday's deadline have been intra-division.

The Islanders getting Palmieri and Zajac is the actual impactful deal...the Hawks-Panthers deals is more cosmetic. Selfishly, I'm glad Connolly got moved because he looked like he was in Coach Q's doghouse and it looked like Wallmark wasn't playing much at all for Chicago.
