Had to (still might have to trim a tiny bit) cut cap, sent out a few offers that were similar to what Steve offered and got politely denied, ignored or team was in cap trouble themselves. Then made a public block, and got some interest. Mabey I should of waited a few more days to pull the trigger, but Steves offer was the best I got. The BBKL is much different obviously then the NHL in that we don't have to actually pull the brinks truck, but I think with the cap not going up, many gms are still very weary making trades with our cap not going up.

At his current cap hit? He's perfectly fine. If I had known that was all it was going to take to get him I certainly would have been interested.
