So if we never "find" another gm for the isles you have to stay on Tony, good deal, thanks. Glad you're still with us! And I'll send you some positive thoughts, good luck!Tony wroteCOLONI'll fill in for the draft and go from there... If someone happens to have interest taking over as GM, by all means let them.Shoalzie wroteCOLONTony, we'd love to have you around but if there's more pressing needs in life that need more attention, we understand. This league is meant to be a fun escape but not an obligation. Take care.

ya man,, like the habs are pretty much out.. yet they have a chance now..Malette18 wroteCOLONThe bigger issue I have is a team like the Oilers going from a 95% chance of making playoffs to a 50/50 against a team who had maybe a 2% chance of making it. I get the incentive but throwing up a sample of ~70 games seems silly. NHL will be the NHL.
but I am happy for a 24 team round format.. too bad the seasons ended so sudden.. Ovi would have gotten 50+ goals...

players not in green were not signed and NHL teams are basically releasing their rights on them.
At first glance, J.Cederholm seems to me the highest selected in BBKL (#60) out of that group, followed by Linus Lindstrom and Milos Roman (at #65 in different yrs)

I guess that talk of moving that signing deadline back a month didn't happen.
I still haven't fully understood how the signing deadline is determined for each prospect. There's a series of players that either need to be signed by June 1 or August 15 but the year will vary. I associate August 15 as a deadline for drafted college players to sign.
CapFriendly outlines those rules here:

So what the hell is going on in here? Can we make trades? Are we finishing the season when hockey returns?

as far as i'm concerned it's done, but it's still being discussed by others.

Re: NHL Transactions, Injuries & Rumours
For us, we're in the offseason so proceed as you would normally. Post blocks and make offers but we'll all be moving at different speeds because there's lot to be decided with the NHL.
We haven't picked a date for the draft. Just consider this to be a very long and slow-moving offseason because the NHL hasn't finished their season and their draft and free agency is being moved back and we won't have official word on the salary cap.
I'd say proceed with caution but there are no restrictions like before. Make trades, post them and process them on Fantrax.
