The way the talk was going in this league a year ago I thought Rinne had no value due to his contract and Saros was already pencilled in as at least the 1B last season with many thinking he was taking the starting gig.

I think there is a close to zero chance he is on the Dallas roster @ the beginning of the season.

I dont remember that, I remember betting hed outperform Fleury in the 2nd half. I was actually a big Rinne hater a couple seasons ago thinking he was holding NSH back but the pendulum swung so far that way that he became undervalued and underrated imo.

i honestly thought his hips wouldn't hold up, he was having some issues and is a big dude

luongo had the same issues earlier in his 30's, had some nice luck w/ successful procedures, a few other goalies too ... but does take a while to come back (ie not just 6 months). Luongo talked about how fucking painful it was to return
