Sorry Scott, I don't think Sellgren is eligible for the entry draft, only the waiver draft, he played in the AHL playoffs last season

I've had such bad luck with recent drafts...wanted to go for sure things and pick a couple of 2018 draftees to wrap up my draft.

Brendon, you might unfortunately be right. All of his AHL games came just before he turned 21. The Calder Cup wrapped up on the 8th and he turned 21 on the 11th.

Assuming that's what this rule means:

* Odd case as an example:
Player born in 1998, non-North American, hasn't played a game in North America, overseas season ends, comes over, plays a game in the AHL:
if that game in AHL comes after he turned 21, he is eligible for the 2019 Entry Draft, otherwise he is not and gets reserved for the waiver draft instead.

Yup. I don't think we're going to have any conflicts with Friday and the first round of the NHL draft. Get it done before Day 2 but I'd think we'll be done ahead of Day 1.
