Re: NHL Transactions, Injuries & Rumours
My order of confidence with Tavares:
1. Re-signs with the Islanders
2. Signs with the Sharks
3. Signs with the Leafs

Seems like the most likely scenario breakdown.Shoalzie wroteCOLONMy order of confidence with Tavares:

I agree with you guys; that would be my order as well.
Re: NHL Transactions, Injuries & Rumours
Also agree, but I have my obvious preference.

Re: NHL Transactions, Injuries & Rumours
I'm not even sure why he would consider the islanders. For me it would be SJ, Toronto or Boston.
Re: NHL Transactions, Injuries & Rumours
Islanders are the only team he doesn't have a chance of winning the Cup with in the next year or two. I don't get why they are the heavy favourites either other than star players always re-sign for the most part.

Re: NHL Transactions, Injuries & Rumours
The Sharks seem like the best team to join now and potentially win a cup next season. If he wants fast results...go there.
For long term, he'll probably fine with staying put and leading the Islanders as their young pups develop and the arena is finally built in a few years. He may win with them but there's no guarantee.
Going to Toronto is the glory-seeking option. You could win a cup with the Leafs very soon and obviously that'll be a huge moment when it happens.

you don't need to party to enjoy California. Wine Country, great weather all year round, a better ocean than New York lolkimmer wroteCOLONwell john tavares doesnt party, real reserved portuguese-canadian christian boi

There's a theory of ... players/people hate to move their stuff. Re: NHL Transactions, Injuries & Rumours
i wouldnt count out Dallas on Tavares
Re: NHL Transactions, Injuries & Rumours
As per Joe Resnick, agent for Rick Nash, Rick remains undecided on playing next season and will forego the July 1st signing period.

That would be some scary line. Benn - Tavares - Seguin. Yikes.cliff11 wroteCOLONi wouldnt count out Dallas on Tavares

Re: NHL Transactions, Injuries & Rumours
That's an interesting choice for Nash...not opting to retire but put himself on self-imposed LTIR. He'll be 35 next summer if he does decide to return.
