SIGH, how about offering that for a higher pick Kyle?
I could have given you #69 for that, let alone #91

Re: TOR/NYR
I would trade 99 for a similar offer
Re: TOR/NYR
I'd trade #105 for less

I'd think a rebuilding team would need more picks but who knows

4 shots in the dark > 1 but that's just my philosophy. Maybe he has a guy in mind that he ranks as a 2nd rounder or something here though
Re: TOR/NYR
he already made that pick I think, for that matter
Re: TOR/NYR
Ya wouldn't be shocked if one of those picks ends up higher than Topping, you never know with these picks after the 2nd.Arian The Insider wroteCOLON4 shots in the dark > 1 but that's just my philosophy. Maybe he has a guy in mind that he ranks as a 2nd rounder or something here though

Or maybe he just wanted a kid named Kyle.

Can never fault a guy that doesn't want to wait another round for a player they like. We're into the low risk/high reward part of the draft.

Different philosophies I guess. Fair enough.Shoalzie wroteCOLONCan never fault a guy that doesn't want to wait another round for a player they like. We're into the low risk/high reward part of the draft.

yah...I need all those 5th, 6th and 7th rounders...Arian The Insider wroteCOLONI'd think a rebuilding team would need more picks but who knows
Ok. As shoalzie said I still have a whole bunch of them.
I wasn’t gonna do anything but the guy I was considering at #62 was still there so I traded a bunch of late picks to get my guy.

But if you value the player like that then I don't blame you for a trade up.

This is looking real good for Mike now got a 2nd and a 3rd rounder in Clark and Stotts and Topping still not picked.Bruyns wroteCOLONYa wouldn't be shocked if one of those picks ends up higher than Topping, you never know with these picks after the 2nd.Arian The Insider wroteCOLON4 shots in the dark > 1 but that's just my philosophy. I personally don't care much where players go. It's a nice feeling when your guy goes higher but NHL teams make a lot of bad moves too. I still stick by my philosophy of having more picks for a rebuilder though.
Re: TOR/NYR
Slightly agree, but you can't tell me honestly that if a guy you took 4th overall went in the 7th round you wouldn't be disappointed. Same thing when guys taken in the 7th go in the 2nd or 3rd rounds, it shows that the team sees something there and helps BBKL value too.Arian The Insider wroteCOLONI personally don't care much where players go.
