I was trying to think of a reason why this thread didn't pick up steam like the Lowball thread but then I realized why: People usually accept Bombshell offers that involve drastic overpayment going their way even if they love the player they are giving up (i.e. Burmistrov with Arian). The only people who don't are either gun shy, overly cautious or just retarded ahha.

i'd like to counter but i don't usually keep logs, but saying im full retard is really a full retard lol.. like the conversation's serious when he keeps on generating lowball trade offers that i will just keep saying nah.. i just really loses interest in offers from shiv and never take them serious anymore... til he comes up with one saying

none of what you said has answered why Frolik isn't worth Sedin LOL.

btw hong, I was actually serious as fuck when I offered you Daniel Sedin + Jimmy Howard + 2nd for Luongo + Frolik. I also really did offer Kane + Howard for the same two. Those were not jokes. I am not proud of it but I did indeed offer that.

And I will be the first to admit in trade talks I'm an asshole lol and I'm proud of it.

But I'm pretty certain that you are oblivious to how many good offers you probably have rejected from almost all GMs in this league lol.

That being said you have done a good job for sure, one of the best rebuilds in BBKL.

I've rejected some big offers on M.Richards... but nothing I regret turning down.


Some GM's seem to think they are making "blow you away" offers and truly aren't.

You know whats funny Bry, there was a period a while ago when you shopped Shattenkirk pretty vigorously. And at the time the interest had dwindled a bit. I'll be the first to admit i didnt see this coming. But man if we could see into the future, youd have kept him and gotten so much more now.

Aside from training camp he hadn't done anything to suggest this was coming in almost 2 1/2 years... he lost his confidence during the 2009 WJC from what I saw and was not skating this well during his tenure in the NCAA.

I loved him in his draft year, and then had thought I was wrong for some time... faith is sometimes required, even if you seem blind on occasion.
