Yeah head scratcher but Mark knows what he’s doing guys. Have no doubt he will surprise a lot of guys with how quickly he turns Chi around. #TrustTheProcess

Why trade Lovejoy then?

Two fold reason:

1. His type of dman fall hard off a cliff around that age. I get younger with the upside of getting two dmen that can play full-time if given the opportunity.

2. He asked nicely.

Absolutely!

Mainly got Lovejoy for the stretch run this year, he was a 6/7D scratch earlier in the season and could easily meet Sustr's same situation next year as younger players leapfrog him. And depending on who Sustr may sign with next season, think there's sufficient risk/reward on both sides.
