Message From The CC
It has recently come to our attention that there are some team(s) in this league who do not update their team salaries and week to week roster moves regularly. This is a requirement of BBKL, and failure to comply with these simple procedures can result in a warning, and subsequent dismissal. IF you have any problems updating, or have questions on how to organize your team pages properly, please do not hesitate to ask the CC or myself for help.
Re: Message From The CC
May I also add that you must post your date of last update and your PRESSBOX players must be clearly visible and obvious. You cannot be out of date past 1 fantasy week. Organization is very important, otherwise conflict can arise. Our lack of being able to track pressbox players on CBS makes BBKL the main means of all record keeping. Any GM should be able to go to any other team page and know a teams cap, pressbox, active roster, etc. If you are one of these teams I suggest you fix it asap, as official warnings will be handed out, like Kareem has said.

lol. It sounds a bit formal but its pretty simple stuff. Team pages is very important. If you can't keep track of your own team and the salaries, how are you able to be compliant under the rules. Thank Frank for waking everyone up to how important this is...Snipeshow wroteCOLONUh oh.

Is my spreadsheet enough? It's always up to date, literally minutes after any transaction is made.mr. bruin wroteCOLONlol. It sounds a bit formal but its pretty simple stuff. Lee, you are not even close to a concern. You are a hyper active GM who is very organized. You could be a model we would direct others too...
Really, this is just minor. So simple. Update your roster and make sure you have salaries recorded properly. Does everyone not have excel? or some spreadsheet program. should not need a calculator and pencil to stay up to date. copy and paste is a powerful tool

Re: Message From The CC
I use google docs for my spreadsheet. No need to save a copy to your computer, just update that, plus you can publish is as a webpage for everyone to view.

*Raises hand*
I do that! Not in the fancy lineup card style...although I've been thinking about doing something like that. I would be fun to make a mock up of an old school lineup card.
Is there something that can be done on the CBS side where only the salaries from the active 20-23 are only counted? Considering not everyone on the forum is thorough as others with posting lineups and what not...we can utilize the league site as a tool to keep track of weekly cap figures. I'm in another CBS league where prospects salaries have * in front of the amount and it doesn't get counted against the total amount. Someone would have to be in charge of putting the * in front of non-active player's salaries but I think it could work.

Very interesting Scott. I do not know much about CBS admin powers but if that is something individual teams could manage it would be awesome. Would save alot of headaches...Shoalzie wroteCOLON*Raises hand*

Is mine good enough?
Question: so we have to post our lineup updated EACH week on a forum somewhere?

Re: Message From The CC
Very nice. Like the Red and Black. You only need to post in the transactions thread if you are actually making changes. If everything stays the same just make sure it is up to date on your Team sub-forums.Dolomite wroteCOLONIs mine good enough?

I think that was a mistake. I only post if changes are made. And I am pretty sure that is the rule. Why would you post the same thing every week if there were no changes? just so it can be buried. I still think we should have a stickied thread where every team makes one post and edits it throughout the year if there is changes to there pressbox players. Or even there active roster at any given time. 1 Post by every team, one thread stickied. Very easy. All the same format.Snipeshow wroteCOLONWe have to post it even if there is no change....?

I was only putting each weeks roster on my team page and announcing all my changes in the day to day thread. I will do both now, had no idea thats what you wanted.
