Re: LAK - NYR
Alright I confirm
I honestly am not sure how this deal is going to pan out for me. Pouliot seems to be in a nice spot in Vancouver though so we will see how this plays out lol. Risky in a sense for me I think...but he's still young enough that I think he's just finally finding his own after not really getting a huge opportunity with Pitt
Add another decent defensive prospect too which I like.
I don't know, whatever lol
Bring on the "kyle got raped" comments lol

Re: LAK - NYR
Hard not to like this for Steve. I offered Polak + Ward so obviously not the right type of assets.
Re: LAK - NYR
Yah, I just think pouliot has a lot of untapped upside in his game and he's finally getting a chance to show that. Kids only 23 and we all know defencman take a lot longer to develop.Bruyns wroteCOLONHard not to like this for Steve. I offered Polak + Ward so obviously not the right type of assets.
Had no interest in doing extra leg work to flip ward and polak into different assets. I really don't need skater GP either so that aspect of your offer wasn't that appealing to me.
This trade is slightly risky I think, but I'm willing to risk it. Short term it probably helps me with my draft position this year and long term I've potentially picked up a young dman who could be a mainstay in Vancouver stop 4. Their Hc, Green really likes him too.

Fair rationale but I think you could have gotten more. Good deal tho. Like it for Steven

What can you do though when out of 30 GMs, only 2 guys make offers the last several weeks? I also don't know how long sobotka is going to play in the top 6. Might be back to bottom 6 next year
Re: LAK - NYR
Steve estatic that he finally found someone who doesn't realize that pouliot is a dumpster fire.

Tough making trades these days eh leeLee wroteCOLONSteve estatic that he finally found someone who doesn't realize that pouliot is a dumpster fire.
Guess you shouldn't have got on the bad side of nearly every GM in this league lol
Re: LAK - NYR
I guess if you believe that this season has been Pouliot legitimately breaking out it's sound logic. And if it does turn out that way you will look smarter than everyone else.

I don't bother with thin skinned cunts who get offended at the smallest perceived slight. pretty sure I acquired donskoi in season.
I'm down if you want to talk trade but if you want to talk about feelings go buy a woman's world Magazine.
