He's a huge part of the Leafs, he's our top pk'er and shot blocker, and also our go to guy late in games and against the oppositions top line. He is also a machine on the fore-check, his absence is going to hurt.

He is a heart and soul player, beloved by his teammates, and always willing to do what it takes to win. There is nothing humorous or sad about that, all good teams need players like Mike Brown to succeed.

Every cup team has their bottom 6 filled with these types... to think they don't make a difference is asinine.

you can find someone to replace them before suffering from such 'difference'.

and he is not going to make such difference for the Leafs anyway considering the kind of team they are right now (not exactly 'cup team').

This team has issues lifting a sippy cup, never mind the Stanley Cup.

Someone notify the Isles to let Okposo rest for the remainder of the season, they aren't cup contenders, so his presence isn't needed.

That 33rd overall pick is looking pretty damned good right about now.

Brown, Schenn and Gustavsson have been our most consistent players this season.
