Snipeshow wroteCOLONI have a question, what happens with the match-up between Frank and I as he is playing with an illegal roster?

Nothing? Just he gets fined?

According to the rules and CC decisions so far:
- Placed on probation, for the remainder of the regular season he must operate to the letter of the law.

Still some discussion remaining:
- Dallas picks either have points added for draft ranking, or the 1st loses lottery eligibility.
- Frank will be fined a 1st of some sort, which one and the time table to process the fine is not settled.

Come on Nick. You should know by now. When Mike decides to pull Rank, there is never any discussion or vote in the CC. Whatever Mike decides goes.

I just wasn't sure if there was any sort of forfeit or anything because of an illegal roster, that's all.

I was about to say, no need to make accusations at this point. This matter doesn't seem to be resolved to me. Keep calm and logical and I'm sure you guys can figure something out.

Only so long before someone makes a Nazi comment.

I say clam down and come back and see what Mike says in a few hours. Just aggravating everyone won't solve anything, its what happened before and the league almost dissolved. Wait it out, cooler heads will prevail.

I don't think so... dunno how well they faired either... very few people were calm and level headed when that entire situation arose; hasty decisions have ruined much more then the BBKL ;)

I just wrote an essay for my Holocaust Studies class, the thesis regarding my grandfather's experience at Bergen-Belsen.

I would say it sickens me that you evoke Nazism, but it's more laughable than anything. Shiv: the Fox News of BBKL.

I've already quit CC. I refuse to be a part of it till people stop pulling rank. It takes a huge investment of time and its a bitch when people hinder what we are supposed to do in CC. So either I get invited back in when Mike has come to his senses. Or I'm sure a new person who is okay with letting Mike pull the strings will be added to CC.

First, my apologies if that comment offended you esp with your grandfather's history.

Second, you still pulled the "my-way-or-the-highway" card. The two things are mutually exclusive to me.

What? in the past week with all the issues have come up, there has been time invest on msn, on the forums. At least an hour a day. 7 hours a week is ridiculous. Would you work a full time shift for free anywhere? Not only that but working for free to find out it is futile because mike is pulling rank?

Appreciated, but don't feel to bad - I wasn't there. His experiences were not mine. I am not easily offended.

How much time do you spend on the forums each day? Honestly..

Adding the CC in, when you have time (nobody is saying you have to give an hour a day), really doesn't add much. I've been in the CC when we have huge heated discussions going. I am not going out of my way to be like "OMG I HAVE TO GET IN ON THE CC BEFORE I HAVE DINNER."

You do your thing sometimes it's longer than others. But I'm not changing my life because there are heated CC discussions. That's my point. You don't HAVE to put that time in. You shouldn't be losing out on anything because of the CC. It's your choice to be in on the CC for 1 hour a day or whatever.

I just find it funny that people think the CC has to make every decision.. they are used when needed.. not when rules are in place. We can read..

I'm not complaining about how much time i have to put in. People like Kareem, Nick and myself are on the forums more than you, thats obvious. The problem is when you put in the time that you do, and its futile. The CC's role was circumvented throughout this process. That is my issue. If the CC can be circumvented like this, why would I put in the time I do?

Not you nor Mike have answered why Frank does not have till the draft to pay the fine of the 1st. If you can read surely you would know that that is not in the CBA.

There have been fines before I think. They occurred immediately I believe.

Although I think this is a harsh fine based on where the pick is. But if rules are rules, rules are rules.
