Spoke with a bunch of teams about a prospect and a pick for him and got nowhere. Realized a week or so ago I took on like $13m in cap this summer and am soon to be over the contract limit so this was an easy way out.

I have a solid top 4 with Orlov, Severson, Dumba and Lindholm and then prospects and mehs. Heiskanen will slide until he has 10 gp and I think Guhle makes the sabres out of camp then hope someone like Murphy Trotman or Witkowski makes a team out of the gate.

lol..I now have 6 dman. Jamie Oleksiak is my 7th, but is no guarantee to play regularly. I been making offers to teams all summer for my 6th d-man.

Coburn was a 2nd pairing defenseman on fantrax last season.

He also played less than 17min a night and seems to be in decline and makes 3.7M. I'd say he probably should have got a 2nd so a 3rd + 5th isn't great but I owned Coburn a couple years ago and he wasn't really wanted so he really isn't that valuable it seems.
