NHL Transactions, Injuries & Rumours
Re: NHL Transactions, Injuries & Rumours
The Hossa situation is ridiculous, but they'll get away with it because of the Pronger precedent

Re: NHL Transactions, Injuries & Rumours
It may not be that far fetched, I work with a lady who has been the head master-stylist instructor for 25 years, she has recently suffered from allergies to all kinds of different sprays, colours and hair products. It has got so bad that she is retiring this year. This may not be as crazy as it sounds.KapG wroteCOLONAllergic reactions?

Re: NHL Transactions, Injuries & Rumours
yea it can happen, and it's so bizarre that I think it's true

Hossa officially out for the coming season https://www.nhl.com/blackhawks/news/med ... -290029810
Re: NHL Transactions, Injuries & Rumours
Thats crazy. I read that the Leafs are targeting the Bruins Colin Miller. Im not sure the Bruins can lose both Colin and McQuaid (Assuming he gets picked by Vegas). They dont have the depth at D for that.

Miller would be the guy I would take if I were themCAM wroteCOLONThats crazy. I read that the Leafs are targeting the Bruins Colin Miller. Im not sure the Bruins can lose both Colin and McQuaid (Assuming he gets picked by Vegas). They dont have the depth at D for that.

Awfully convenient for it to happen now lmaoThe BBKL Insider wroteCOLONIt may not be that far fetched, I work with a lady who has been the head master-stylist instructor for 25 years, she has recently suffered from allergies to all kinds of different sprays, colours and hair products. It's believed Vegas has deals for protection that will be announced tonight obviously, but also deals involving other players and three-way deals that will be announced tomorrow, looks like GMGM has been extremely busy.
Also, it's believed that Vegas will be selecting Clayton Stoner from Anaheim instead of Vatanen and Manson. The price for this is Shea Theodore.

Boring
In exchange for the Golden Knights choosing Haula in expansion and steering clear of, among others, defensemen Matt Dumba and Marco Scandella and center Eric Staal, the Wild has agreed to trade prospect Alex Tuch and a conditional future draft pick to Vegas, sources say.

Re: NHL Transactions, Injuries & Rumours
So it seems they have given up a good young defense of dumba + manson/vatanen

Re: NHL Transactions, Injuries & Rumours
Theodore is still a good young defender from ANA if those rumours are true. I understand what they are doing though, why pick the best possible team to only be a bubble playoff team and not have much in the pipeline when you can load up on picks and prospects and be bad for a couple seasons and then try and develop some home grown stars that you weren't going to get through expansion.

Anyone else see "the pledge" McPhee was making teams do?

Today will be entertaining...just a matter of will we see all this news prior to the awards tonight. I'm sure the league has an interest in keeping this news quiet as long as possible so people will still watch the show tonight.

Re: NHL Transactions, Injuries & Rumours
understandable, imo. Short time frame with 30 gms coming at you. Need to standardize something...
