I'm glad they're finally realizing that the streak is coming to an end and they need to think about the future. Sucks that they're close out the Joe without making the playoffs but they need find the next stars for this team through the draft. Stockpile picks and for once they'll be picking in the lottery. They've gotten by with middle and late picks in rounds.

It sounds like the Red Wings wanted to use him in a physical bottom 6 role which he's just not suited for. Blackhawks might be the perfect fit for him given their system and how paper thin they are with depth.

Nice to see a long shot get a chance at the NHL. McEneny getting a recall with a bunch of canucks players getting aids. He's been really awful for a really long time but had been great over the last 20 or so games. Was highly touted (1st rounder) before getting injured after 2 games in his draft year and went undrafted.
