Posting it as it has appeared on TSN now, I hope they are wrong again though. He was always a warrior.

Edit: It has been announced by the Devils. Looks like it's true. Rest in Peace Pat, he was a legend.

Loved Pat Burns, awesome, intense and apparently honest guy, HOF coach (despite the knobs who get to vote). Heard lots of positive things including being a good father, supportive husband and generous + active in his community.

Cannot wait for the TSN special on him, and for Bobby Mac to tell the HOF voters to fuck-themselves at least one more time. I'd actually enjoy if that's how he signed off each time.

RIP Pat. You were the best damned coach I've ever had to see at the helm of the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Way too young indeed.....I work at a hospital, and first hand see the devastating effects that cancer is....The fight that many of these people put forth is truly inspiring. This is just another reminder to everyone that life is way too short, and to enjoy every minute of it, and to not worry so much about the little things.

I have friends who constantly bitch and complain about everything, when in reality they are truly blessed. Now every body has a right to bitch a little, but when I hear them going on and on etc, I ask them to do something for me. I ask them to pick a hospital, any hospital any floor and walk from one end of the floor to the other, and I can guarantee you will stop bitching.

RIP Pat Burns

I just wish he could of saw is name in the hall fame but I guest he'll be looking down on us on that day wich should come soon enough.
