It's not quite dead, my boss just signed up for it as well. Depends on who you get on the line/if you're an existing customer/your postal code etc.KapG wroteCOLONThanks Mike
I passed this along to my parents. We're already with Rogers though so I'm not sure what kind of deal they'd be able to hook us up with
Edit: I think the deals dead now. Says so in the thread if you scroll down

Re: TV/Movies talk Part II
I just heard a deal similar to this advertised on the radio, but was a 3 year contract rather than 2
Re: TV/Movies talk Part II
Was it introductory pricing of for the full 3 year term?
Re: TV/Movies talk Part II
Really? I was paying $134/mo for 18mbps down 1 mbps up with 250 channels and basic dvrMike wroteCOLONThis is far from the norm. We're usually fucked worse than you are as far as telcos go (unless you're in Manitoba/Sask/Quebec).koomzzz wroteCOLONcanada sounds nice... damn
i regularly got 8-9 mbps down until i cancelled 3 days ago and went back to the evil TWC
Re: TV/Movies talk Part II
I pay 70 a month for just 25 internet.
Re: TV/Movies talk Part II
This is usually $250+ a month, without a deal this crazy I'd never consider going back to Rogers/Bell or having cable at all for that matter.koomzzz wroteCOLONReally? Before this I'm paying (tax in) $90/month for 60/10mbps unlimited, no cable.

Honestly couldn't say, I don't recall hearing anything about a shift in price though, was on the Fan590 and can try and listen for it coming home today.Mike wroteCOLONWas it introductory pricing of for the full 3 year term?

The speed/channel combo seems to be worth 250, 1gbps is fast as fuck. I pay $35 for 15 down right now. Get my cable through PlaystationMike wroteCOLONThis is usually $250+ a month, without a deal this crazy I'd never consider going back to Rogers/Bell or having cable at all for that matter.koomzzz wroteCOLONReally? Re: TV/Movies talk Part II
I was considering doing that playstation tv thing through a VPN, sounds pretty nice.
BTW speaking of Playstation - this month's PSN free games are amazing. Includes NBA2k16.

Re: TV/Movies talk Part II
It only took them 3 fucking years to drop a real game on us.
These Indy games they keep giving us are bullshit. Yah, some of them are fun for 10-15 minutes but after that they just get boring

it is pretty nice, the packages have majority of popular networks. the downside is the bitrate vs. speed of a hockey game sometimes it's a bit slowMike wroteCOLONI was considering doing that playstation tv thing through a VPN, sounds pretty nice.

Re: TV/Movies talk Part II
I had been trying out various quasi-legal IPTV services (paying about $15/month). Same problem, the bitrate wasn't good enough for sports. Happy I've lucked in to this deal, no more IPTV for me!
Re: TV/Movies talk Part II
Kodi and Exodus / 1channel / Phoenix for me.
Re: TV/Movies talk Part II
I bought a Netmaster a few months ago. Basically an Android box that runs Kodi but they have their own software and skin on it and comes preloaded with everything like SALTS, Phoenix, Exodus, Channel Up, etc plus all sports subscriptions. Worth every penny just for the sports to me, everything in HD and lifetime subscriptions to everything.
Re: TV/Movies talk Part II
could never figure out kodi to save my life. i used to think i was technologically sound. til i tried that shit. nothing worked for me. would like to have access to CHL games
Re: TV/Movies talk Part II
I can help if you need. Love Kodi.
