Perhaps you should get in on the Perry sweepstakes then studkyuss wroteCOLONright now the deal looks unreal for Kim, and makes this one look a little better http://bbkl.ca/viewtopic.php?f=76&t=131 ... en#p237419
hopefully Perry will be shopped around for more than a couple of minutes before unloading him to LAK as soon as Steve will have room/need for him

Re: CAR/COL
Man Perry's only 30 and actually producing better than I thought he was. Don't really get this. As a Canucks fan I'd be really happy with Virtanen becoming a consistent physical 30-40 point guy. Don't see a huge ceiling above that.

30-40 pt ceiling? I mean you are entitled to your own opinion.Fraser wroteCOLONMan Perry's only 30 and actually producing better than I thought he was. Don't really get this. I'd say that's a reasonable expectation with a 30+ goal 65 pt ceilingThe BBKL Insider wroteCOLON25-25 guy with high hits and sog.

Re: CAR/COL
I expect point production for virtanen to heavily correlate with who Vancouver's top 2 line centres are over the next decade.

Re: CAR/COL
Don't see it in this NHL. But 20-20 perhaps. Dude really has seemed lost and slow this year and same at WJC. Hopefully he turns t around. Paul really lucked out I think with your valuation but who knows. Could work out well for both sides.CasperX22 wroteCOLONI'd say that's a reasonable expectation with a 30+ goal 65 pt ceilingThe BBKL Insider wroteCOLON25-25 guy with high hits and sog.

Re: CAR/COL
Ya. One of his most noticeable skillsets is his speed
Re: CAR/COL
And his ability to go full retard

Re: CAR/COL
Alright, I'll give it to you guys cause you watch him much more than i do - times I've seen him he looks ?slow with the puck maybe or that he's not able to use his speed effectively (a la Larkin)

Re: CAR/COL
Reminds me a lot of Evander Kane, gets the puck, skates straight ahead really fast, and shoots, not much playmaking ability, and not the best tool box though both are talented.
Re: CAR/COL
I agree entirely Josh, a less-skilled Evander Kane is exactly the player I see in Virtanen.
Re: CAR/COL
Agree with Josh. Has some high end skills but difficult to put them together due to dumbness

Kane is probably a cool guy to hang out with, but doesn't take his career as seriously as he should.
