Took a while to bring my fave player Perry to Carolina, mayhaps a few years removed his true prime but he'll be an effective scorer for several more years into his 30's IMO

On second thought, this is closer than it appears, for me.

2 second rounders an get some decent prospects, and virtanen can probably put up similar numbers to what Perry will put up for the remainder of his career (he's older). And virtanen is also cheap and young.

Pretty much the reaction I expected from most of the league. I have my own reasons for doing this deal. No real sweat off my back if almost the entire league thinks I get killed in this deal lol!
