What was the logic of this move, I must be missing something? Just curious.

Yeah, you are missing something...The logic of this trade is obvious to anyone who digs deep enough...

He wanted to move contracts for non-contracts he could drop so he could claim Adam Hall.

I just am not sure if Adam Hall > Mihalik + Eckford.

Mihalik is known as a project hes 6"7, his AHL numbers haven't been great but not many 6"7 23 year old d men will make the jump. His value had to be that of at least a 5th rounder. Which is what I would of considered paying I'm sure other teams as well too.
Eckford is whatever, but then I don't see the huge upside in Adam Hall either.

Might of served you better to shop around to at least get a pick vs trading them just to drop someone else.

Dumb post...Eckford and Mihalik have zero value, this is a deal where I helped out Philly, Mihalik is not a project, he is a bust, it's been 5 years since he was drafted, and he has been unable to crack the bottom pairing of the second worst defence in the NHL (since the lockout), there is no future for him, and no one was interested in him when Lee shopped him. If you think he's worth a 5th, than be my guest and offer one...

This move made sense for Lee as it opened up 2 contract spots for him, one of which he used to pick up Adam Hall to get himself closer to the GP minimum. You are all full of shit if you think I "won" this trade, and if anyone of you want to challenge me on this offer a 5th for any of the players I just recieved, hell I will give em both for a 5th...Anyone?
