Why move TJ? Is the goal to create cap space? Just need to know before i throw in my funny public post offer as well. At least it will be an informed one!

The goal is not to create cap space. He's waiver exempt so I could always stash him if I wanted to. I've got offense to burn, so seeing what's out there.

Since he's waiver exempt it makes more sense to me to let him appreciate (or, erm, depreciate) in value in my minors. Can try to overpay if you like but I gots no capspace.

i wouldn't touch yakapov with a 10 foot pole. Mike's better off letting him get traded out of Edm or at least getting a chance to play some mins there.

my worry would be he bolts to the KHL if he isn't traded by this summer.
