Well, the stats in which we track are listed on CBS, multiple sites offer full analytical statistics...combine the two with, really the slighest amount of common sense / 4th grade compairison skills and presto chango you have accurate values determined for set variables....AND the feeling of a job well done?Kezia wroteCOLONSpeaking of which, where are values posted?facey wroteCOLONjust showing how little you looked at stats their Lee... that rank system isn't based on our stats... its some weird thing... +/- is heavily weighted... hence his high status.

Just sayin' ... starting goalies are extremely rare. Schultz + 1st might get you a bottom 10 starter ... might.

A shining example of how one of the admins of the league should respond to someone who is brand new and hasn't seen a single game.Mashley93 wroteCOLONWell, the stats in which we track are listed on CBS, multiple sites offer full analytical statistics...combine the two with, really the slighest amount of common sense / 4th grade compairison skills and presto chango you have accurate values determined for set variables....AND the feeling of a job well done?Kezia wroteCOLONSpeaking of which, where are values posted?facey wroteCOLONjust showing how little you looked at stats their Lee... that rank system isn't based on our stats... its some weird thing... +/- is heavily weighted... hence his high status.

I'm here to administer the site and help those who first make a valid attempt to help themselves. However, if i was to simply spoonfeed all of the members that would account for a lot of extra work which frankly, Im just not interested in doing. Tony, Mik, Topher, etc. all also have yet to "see a single game"(which i find a poorly worded beacuse does one really see a fantasy hockey game?) anyway, they all still do things for themselves. I'm not asking you to break down atomic particles here meerly to do a little bit of 4th grade research.Kezia wroteCOLONA shining example of how one of the admins of the league should respond to someone who is brand new and hasn't seen a single game.Mashley93 wroteCOLONWell, the stats in which we track are listed on CBS, multiple sites offer full analytical statistics...combine the two with, really the slighest amount of common sense / 4th grade compairison skills and presto chango you have accurate values determined for set variables....AND the feeling of a job well done?Kezia wroteCOLONSpeaking of which, where are values posted?facey wroteCOLONjust showing how little you looked at stats their Lee... that rank system isn't based on our stats... its some weird thing... +/- is heavily weighted... hence his high status.

It was a simple question based off of a response from someone in the CC:
"Based on our stats" Based on the stats that are tracked in CBS, Shultz was ranked 11th. Sorry for wanting to clarify something. Keep on keepin on.just showing how little you looked at stats their Lee... that rank system isn't based on our stats... its some weird thing... +/- is heavily weighted... hence his high status.

Fair, I understand ego can often play a significant role in an online community for which I'm sorry if I have in anway bruised yours. I was simply showing you the simple steps needed to acquire your own data to not only aid in trade talks but to better educated yourself so you don't portray yourself like a full retard while posting.

Being so angry all of the time probably isn't good for your health. Re: Jeff Schultz and Martin Gerber for a goalie
I was not in anyway shape or form angry, simple pointing out what I often see as the obvious, however I point out anyway for you "lessers". Your prompt message telling me to go "masterbate" shows me that not only are you an online alpha-male in your normal online setting but a pathetic lonely boy in the real world. News flash, this is NOT your normal online settings and if I at some point I slip up there are other almost equal minds with much harsher way of writing things out there that will indeed eat you up on this fourm. Ya dig?Kezia wroteCOLONBeing so angry all of the time probably isn't good for your health. Re: Jeff Schultz and Martin Gerber for a goalie
I was under the impression that this was a head to head league. When a member of the CC says that our stats are different from the CBS ranking, that might lead some people to believe that we are using some form of point system. It may be obvious to you, it was apparent to me that this was a point league, someone made a statement that contradicted that, and I asked a question. The nerve, right? Calling someone an idiot as your main retort to basically every disagreement doesn't exactly set the bar too high to be your intellectual equal.
It's kind of funny that you accuse me of trying to be an "online alpha male" while acting high and mighty and calling someone "lesser" while calling me... a lonely boy?

Re: Jeff Schultz and Martin Gerber for a goalie
Calling you my "lesser" was my way of being polite. Your hockey knowledge may be greater than mine (although I doubt it) but I would almost gurantee that yes you are indeed my intellectual "lesser". I will openly admit that I am a text-book defined nerd in the real world, however, I have a girlfriend, a job and an education. I was not calling you an idiot for disagreeing with me I was calling you an idiot for not understanding how to calculate a simple base value for skaters with such well defined statisitical variables. I never call anyone an idiot unless they do something idiotic in which case I state it and also provide sufficent evidence to back my school yard name calling. I hope this clears up any issues we may be having here due to poor communication on my part.Kezia wroteCOLONI was under the impression that this was a head to head league. ps - the lonely boy remark was soley based on observations made on your characteristic to always shove back when confronted or disagreed with on the fourms along with the comment about masterbating which to me is a rather juvenile comment to make.

If you respond to a question with a smart ass comment, don't expect to be met with roses and sunshine.
People usually do push back if they disagree with something. I don't try to act all high and mighty when I disagree with someone, nor try to make them feel foolish for doing so. I understand that this is a head to head league. Someone said something that made me think that I was wrong. I asked a question. It wasn't met with douchebaggery, sarcasm or a smart ass comment. I wanted to clarify something, which was not clarified in the thread, but in an MSN conversation with Nick.

Besides the last segement of my original post which I simply couldn't resist my post was filled with valuable information to obtain your own data, nothing more was meant by it.
and yes you can usually arrive at the same answers you will get with me by asking Nick first, but Nick will just give you the answer straight, and come on where is the fun in that?
PS - I love you Nick (no homo)
