Facey just made a post in one of the threads i think everyone needs to read what he said. because everything he said makes complete sense to me. and it is in the best interest of bbkl. ill let his post do the rest of the talking:

I think people are missing how the CC will function; we've had the CC managed this way in the past, and it ran smoothly.


Here is my suggestions to help us prepare for the start or the season and survive these dark times.

2 admin's who ANYONE can talk to and send potential issues to
-anything with merit will get passed onto the CC
-league will be notified in general discussion the conversation on the topic is underway
-admin's do not get to weigh in on the topic
->->-> I'd suggest Mike & Matt for this issue, I believe they are both truly nice guys, easy to bring up potential issues to, neither is a competitively- edgy as most in the BBKL, and they handle lots of the setup/site/stuff

Return to 4 veteran CC members
-not just quick vote, but proper discussion can take place this way
-they are encouraged to list potential issues and concerns with the topic, and work together towards well rounded rules instead of the current polarization and my-way-or-the-highway style, instead of forcing vote to one members view, they combine ideas and negotiate fair rulings, in-place of a vote system in all cases, perhaps they are encouraged to reach consensus.
-no premature or rushed decisions, solid logical decisions will be the focus
->->-> I've witnessed our best results with Kyle, Neel (though Shiv could step in here if Neel is busy), Billy and myself (Facey), though I'm open to adding a less-contending team (such as Tony/Shoalzie/Kyuss), and if preferred Shooker in place of me (if some change of personal is wanted).

Scott continues to aide and support the day-to-day running of the league, supporting Mike and Matt as well as tackling the CBS stuff.

Kareem returns to mod duties focusing on the trade thread and I'd suggest the waiver-wire police.

Shep, Tony, & Shiv return to making kick ass banner on a semi-regular basis.

If I've made some oversight or forgotten someone it is not intentional and I'm going with with the excuse that i'm frigging exhausted and need some sleep, lets not forget that we're all hockey fans (mostly leafs) and that shit is about to get cool...like 1967 style.

What they said about 2 admins deciding what goes to the CC has happened in the past. This isn't the crazy takeover some people are making it out to be.

You can't just sweep it under the rug man, people like this league. They/I just want to know what the hell is going on. With like less then two weeks left before the start of the season we have chaos in the league. Without getting all personal (ie. ignore kareem) just make an ADMIN-like post explaining what the situation is and how we are going forward. I think that is all that needs to be done here, a detailed post is this really that hard to do? Or was it really this hard to see that this needs to be done? Come on!

It's funny you mention that Matt because there's a post I wrote last night that I want to edit and proof read a bit before posting stating exactly that. I just want it to be simple and unemotional. I'm just waiting until the crying dies down a bit.

I won't lie, I delete Matt and my posts because it's the exact thing I am wanting to avoid on this board.. a pissing match. Matt and I have been talking, he's in clas right now, I'm hoping be can put this all behind us and move on. I've apologized, a certain someone as apologized and we'll see what happens.
