Dallas Stars Resignation
Dallas Stars Resignation
Thanks a lot BBKL for giving me an outlet to be creative and enjoy hockey at the same time. I've reached a point in my life where I don't have the attention/concern for following sports like I used to, and also don't have the desire to change my roster as I feel like most of my players just need time to develop. Its put me to a spot where I don't feel creatively stimulated as the owner of my team anymore, and where I don't feel like occupying my free time with something that isn't one of my top interests anymore. I wish the best to whoever takes over my team, and will definitely be upset if I see Reinhart/Barkov etc etc, traded for the sake of it, but to just own this team to say I like a couple of players, seems like a waste of all of our time.
I hope you guys pick a responsible GM to take over my team, because I believe the assets I have will be much more valuable in a time soon from now, would be a shame to see what I've built put to waste and continue to be stuck at the bottom for years to come.
And a final jab, my non replying nature is more of a testament to a plethora of terrible offers. Making an offer that would destroy a bottom feeder team is a terrible convo starter.
I'm trying to make it as a film student at Emily Carr at this point of time in my life, so I need to save my free time for editing and being more all consumed by my artistic interests, making a side interest like fantasy sports something I don't want to let sidetrack my brain too much.

It's probably for the best. I think we'd all rather find an active replacement instead of trying to guess when you're going to fulfill your responsibilities. If you don't have the time or the interest, we can go find someone who does. I hope everything goes well for you, Pete.

All the best buddy, used to make a lot of trades between the Flames and Stars when we were both the newest here.

I think I reached a point where I've given all I was willing to to this league, I'll make sure to drop in still and would love to chat with the new GM of this team when thats sorted, cheers guys, its been a pleasure. couldn't have asked for a more stimulating fantasy league.
