MUST READ: PLAYER ELIGIBILITY CONFLICTS

Post by Robin Hood »

So this positional eligibility issue has been tearing the league apart. so im putting an end to this shit.

use this forum ONLY TO LIST which PLAYERS have TOO MUCH ELIGIBILITY or NOT ENOUGH ELIGIBILITY. NO CONVERSATIONS. NO DEBATES. JUST LIST THE PLAYERS. AND THE CC WILL GET BACK TO YOU.

I REPEAT DO NOT TURN THIS INTO A 500 post DEBATE.

Please and Thank you.

This makes no sense.
The CC will decide based off what?
I thought that was the whole point of the debates to figure whats better. Why are we making this process even more subjective and having no league transparency?

I seriously think everyone needs to get their panties out of a bunch and just stick with CBS for now.

What was the problem in the first place? The fact that there was a couple players CBS had wrong?

the fact that CBS sucks (there are more than a couple of players wrong on my team alone) and that the system to correct positions via admin was unclear and subjective.

here are a few names to get started and to show tsn is very far from realistic

Too Much Eligability

Nik Antropov-listed as C/W hasnt played wing since joining the thrashers
Mikael Backlund-listed as C/W played as a C
Jamie Benn-listed as C/W he is a winger not a C
Michael Blunden-listed as C/W he is a winger
Brian Boyle (nyr)-listed as C/W he played all last year as a C
Gilbert Brule- listed C/W he played all last year as a center. Cogliano switched to the wing instead of him
Adam Burish-listed as C/W clealy played all of last year as a winger he may get a bit of grace because he is going to a new team and may switch I dont know
Erik Christiensen-listed as C/W Clearly a center and that is all he plays
Matt Cullen-listed as a C/W Clearly a center
Pavel Datsyuk-listed as C/W its a joke to call him anything but a center
Chris Drury-listed as C/W another joke to call him anything but center
T.J Galiardi-listed as C/W is strictly a winger
Paul Gaustad-listed as a C/W most definately a center

this is only for too much eligability and up to the last name starting with G. I checked these guys out with stats and on dobber hockey to see who they were playing with (i realize it is in alphabetical order not position).

Meh, I just cope with what CBS does. I'll be doing no research into my team to try and get new positions. If I notice something, so be it.

to be fair i'm pretty sure brule did play some wing this year and backlund is likely to play LW this year, but it's not certain. I'm positive sportsnet has as many if not more position mistakes.. it's sportsnet for god sakes

I watched about 35-40 games for both clubs those two I am very certain about. Why would backlund play wing on a team short of centers anyways lol

I can all but guarantee that the top line in Calgary will share the center dot. Iginla, Tanguay and Jokinen will take draws at different times. Iginla usually gets around 150 FOW a year. I have seen Jokinen on the RW also.
