It wasn't announced cause its not a new rule. It's been like this for years if people paid any attention.

I guess like suggested you could leave them off your roster submission and then they're dropped. But then you're knowingly circumventing rules and I don't know how the CC will perceive that.

That's also impossible to enforce since you can't prove a player was left off on purpose or forgotten. I had 2 players left off when taking over for Phion and I'm sure other GMs have lost players due to not including them on roster submission so I doubt CC is going over roster submissions with a fine tooth comb and comparing them to the prior year considering trades were made year round.

We have a limit of 50 contracted players and 5 sliding contracts. The new spreadsheet will let you know which players are eligible.

There's no limit on sliding deals. Just can't have more than 90 guys.

So we are just supposed to intrinsically know the date that drops are allowed until? What about the new GMs? There was no mention that contracted drops were not allowed after a certain date. It seemed odd that there was no date posted leading up to the waiver draft so I assumed it would be roster submission.

It's literally been the rule since BBKL started.
