You cant. Dropping contracts stopped at the waiver draft. Now it is only non-contracted.

Not including them on roster submission is the same as dropping them.

You can't released contracted players after the waiver draft. Only that period of the offseason prior to the waiver. You can drop unsigned players any time.

Would have been nice to know , you know... before the waiver draft.

Just don't include them on your roster submission and problem solved.

It wasn't announced cause its not a new rule. It's been like this for years if people paid any attention.

I guess like suggested you could leave them off your roster submission and then they're dropped. But then you're knowingly circumventing rules and I don't know how the CC will perceive that.

I'm in the same boat as Lee and thought players were only set in stone for the year after roster submission was done. Isn't the whole point of roster submission submitting your team for the up coming season? If a GM doesn't want to include a contracted player and the season hasn't started how is that hurting anyone?

So we are just supposed to intrinsically know the date that drops are allowed until? What about the new GMs? There was no mention that contracted drops were not allowed after a certain date. It seemed odd that there was no date posted leading up to the waiver draft so I assumed it would be roster submission.
